Our Tiny Taekwondo class focuses on fundamental movements at a beginner level. Children learn fundamental movements and movement patterns and develop the ability to perform basic punches, kicks, and blocks.
Students alternate between striking and grappling each week, focusing on the basics. They learn essential kicks like the front kick, roundhouse kick, and sidekick, along with basic punches and blocks, and practice simple escapes from common situations.
Our intermediate program introduces more advanced techniques. Children join our competition team, practice sparring, and learn sophisticated self-defense techniques as well as advanced kicks and punches, including the blitz and tornado kick.
We are one of the very few schools in California licensed to teach Kombat Taekwondo, a self-defense-focused version of Taekwondo. Students learn punches, kicks, and blocks, as well as takedowns and ground defense, alternating between striking techniques and self-defense scenarios.
